Happy Father's Day!

Happy Friday Friends!

Tasha here sharing a Father's Day card featuring the 5406 -Mr. Set from Art Impressions. This sharp-dressed gentleman is ready for summer and has his hammer in hand to tackle any project!

I stamped the man, hammer, and tool belt, then used the coordinating dies to cut them out. The hand die includes an opening to hold the hammer, and I customized the tool belt by removing the tape measure for a unique look.

For the background, I added an embossed floor with silver metallic wax on black cardstock and a brick pattern to complement the handyman theme. To finish the card, I layered tan, cream, and brown cardstock with a piece of Art Impressions plaid paper. I love how these colors and patterns come together for a fun masculine design.

Thanks for stopping by today!

Hello Spring!

Happy Friday friends!

Tasha here sharing a Spring card featuring the super cute 6008 Bunny Hugs Set and 6046 Scalloped Oval Dies. With Spring only a few days away, I have been pulling out my Spring and Easter sets and I cannot stop coloring the bunny stamps. I love all of them, but this sweet bunny with the tulips felt just right for this time of year.

For this card, I stamped the image in black ink and colored it with Copic Markers. I chose a pretty floral pattern paper for the background and matched the tulip colors to the soft pastel shades in the paper. I really love how those colors came together.

For the center, I used cloud and grass stencils to create a simple outdoor scene. I added a few glitter enamel sparkles to the clouds for a little texture and shine. I always like adding a bit of sparkle.

To finish the card, I used a scalloped oval die cut from metallic pink cardstock and layered it with dark purple, white, and lavender cardstock to coordinate with the flowers.

I hope you enjoyed today’s card and that it inspires you to start working on your Spring projects!

Have a wonderful day!

Spiders and Sparkle!

 Happy Friday everyone!

Tasha here sharing a new Halloween card inspired by the current Art Impressions “Along Came a Spider” Challenge. For my card, I used the 6112-Pumpkin Parade Set to create a fun Halloween scene. I stamped the little bunny witch character and colored her with Copic Markers.

For the background, I designed a cozy little room with a few not-so-scary spiders hanging around. I’m not a fan of spiders, but I do love their webs; so I added a few spiderwebs in the background!

To finish, I stamped Happy Halloween and layered it with foam tape, then attached pink glitter paper along with pink, white, and black cardstock to complete the design.

A little spooky, a little sweet; just how I like my Halloween cards!

Cozy Fall Card!

 Happy Friday friends!

Tasha here sharing a new card inspired by the Art Impressions "When One Door Closes" challenge. Since Fall is right around the corner (my favorite season!), I used the 5492-Front Porch Harvest Set to create a cozy autumn scene; pumpkins included, of course! 🎃

For the background, I stenciled a soft brick design with beige distress ink and popped up the stamped images with foam tape for extra dimension. To finish, I layered brown, golden yellow, and white card stock with a touch of leafy patterned paper to tie in the fall colors. A stitched die cut panel and a few white gel pen details pulled everything together.

I hope you enjoyed today's card and will join in the fun When One Door Closes challenge!

Let's Par Tee!

Happy Friday friends!

Tasha here sharing a new card inspired by the current Art Impressions Sports & Leisure Challenge. For this project, I used the 4902-Par-Tee Golfers Set and the 5062-Rounded Rectangle A2 Double Stitched Dies to create a fun golf-themed design.

I stamped the golfer lady with black ink and colored her outfit in pink Copic shades; perfect for a sunny day at the country club! The background features fluffy stenciled clouds and green grass (my favorite combo to make!). To frame the scene, I layered white and pink cardstock with plaid paper and added a pop of gold glitter.

To finish the card, I stamped “Let’s...Par Tee!” in pink ink and die-cut it with a rounded rectangle before popping it up with foam tape. I also attached two clear rhinestones to her skirt for extra sparkle. Such a fun way to celebrate the challenge theme!

I hope you enjoyed today's card and will join in the Sports & Leisure Challenge!

Fall Blessings!

Hello friends and welcome back to my blog. Today I'm sharing a Fall card featuring the Bushel of Happiness Stamp Set from Dare 2B Artzy.

To create this card, I started by stamping the ladder and basket of apples and used the coordinating die set to cut them out. I really like using the die set for this ladder image since it cuts the openings perfectly allowing the background to show.

Before attaching the main stamped pieces to the center card, I used the D2BA Clouds & Raindrops Stencil to make the ground and sky. The dark green and deep golden colors add to the Fall vibe and I love the puffy yellow clouds!

Lastly, I stamped "Wishing You a Bushel of Fall Blessings" and again used the coordinating dies to cut the words out. I love the "Fall Blessings" font and the orange color goes with the colors used throughout the card. I also added layers of orange and brown card stock and a piece of D2BA plaid pattern paper to complete the design.

I hope you enjoyed today's project and are having a wonderful day!

I Love Fall!

 Hi friends!

Tasha here sharing a Fall card inspired by the current Art Impressions "Farm Fresh" Challenge. Fall is my favorite season, so for this challenge I created a Fall scene featuring the 5507-Harvest Together Set and 5592-Harvest Journal Die Set.

The scarecrow image was stamped with black ink and colored with Copic Markers. I used a white gel pen to add little details to the patches, and gave each patch a different design. I also used the included coordinating die to cut the image out. I love that several Art Impressions sets include the dies.

Before attaching the scarecrow to the card, I created a Fall scene. The sky was created with Distress Oxide Ink and a Sunburst stencil. I also used the 5592-Harvest Journal Die Set to make some cool pumpkins for the background, I love pumpkins!

To complete the card, I stamped "I Love Fall Most of All" on to a stitched banner. This sentiment goes perfectly with this scene and I love the cool farmhouse style font. I also added layers of brown and yellow card stock, and a piece of Art Impressions pattern paper to complete the design.

I hope you enjoyed today's card and will join in the "Farm Fresh" Challenge!

Have a great day!

Embrace the Day Card Featuring the D2BA STAMPtember Limited Edition Set!

Hi friends and welcome back to my Blog!
Today I'm sharing a new card created with the D2BA limited edition set created for the Simon Says Stamp STAMPtember collaboration

This set has several images and sentiments to select from, but I LOVE these sunflowers! I stamped the flowers directly on the card and used masking paper to cover them before ink blending some purple clouds using the Clouds & Raindrops Stencil. I thought the purple color went well with a Fall card.

After ink blending the sky and adding green grass to the ground, I stamped the "Embrace and day!" greeting. To coordinate with the purple clouds, I used D2BA Wild Orchid Ink on the word "Embrace" and D2BA Totally Black Ink on the rest of the greeting. The pop of color in the sentiment adds a fun detail and I love the bright white on the top corner.

To complete the card I added layers of dark purple and golden yellow card stock, gold glitter paper, and a layer of D2BA pattern paper. The green leaf print went perfectly with the flowers and colors used throughout the card. I also attached several purple enamel dots to complete the design.

Thank you for checking out today's project. Be sure to head over to Simon Says Stamp to see more card examples and to purchase this beautiful limited edition stamp set from Dare 2B Artzy!

Happy Fall Y'all!

 Happy Friday!

Tasha here sharing a Fall themed card inspired by the current Art Impressions "Not Just Paper" Challenge.  My card features the super cute 5507 - Harvest Together Set and has a little bow and leaf stickers to go with the challenge theme. I love these colors!

I stamped the main image with black ink and used the included dies to cut it out. I used markers for the coloring and added little accents with a white gel pen; I love my gel pens! I also stenciled a pretty background to bring in more color and add to the Fall feel of the card.

Lastly, I embossed "Happy Fall, Y'all" on to tan paper and added layers of gold glitter paper, colored card stock, and Art Impressions pattern paper to complete the card.

I hope you enjoyed today's project and will participate in the "Not Just Paper" challenge.
Have a great day!

Frappe Birthday Cards!

 Happy Friday Friends!

Tasha here sharing two cards created with the Art Impressions Sweet Bday STAMPtember Exclusive Set. This set is awesome, but it's only here for a limited time and once it sells out, it's gone.

The first card was an outdoor scene and I added puffy golden clouds to the sky. I wanted it to look like a sunny day and thought the yellow color gave a sunshine look. I had so much fun coloring the clothes and donuts on this card, doesn't the donut tower looks so yummy?

The second card also has a similar outdoor scene, but I added blue clouds and different paper layers to give the design a totally different look. I love the red hair and pink and purple color combination.

Lastly, I stamped "Frappe Birthday" for the greeting on both cards to complete the designs. These will make great birthday cards, but this set can really be used on year-round projects.

I hope you enjoyed todays projects and are inspired to create with the Art Impressions Sweet Bday STAMPtember Exclusive Set from Simon Says Stamp.

Have a great day!

Frappe Birthday!

Happy Tuesday Friends!
Sharing a card created with the exclusive Art Impressions and Simon Says Stamp STAMPtember® 2024 Collaboration Set! This set has a fun coffee & donut themed design and I just love Art Impression people stamps!
For my project I stamped the two friends and colored them with markers. I used polka-dot pattern paper for the leggings and love the look! The brick background was created with a brick stencil and two shades of Distress Oxide Ink and I used dark gray markers for the ground. I wanted it to look like they were outside of a coffee or donut shop chatting with their treats.

For the sentiment, I embossed "Frappe Birthday" on to black paper and attached a piece of silver glitter paper before adhering it to the card with foam tape. The white lettering pops against the black paper and looks great with the brick design behind it!

Lastly, I added layers of silver glitter paper, black card stock, and a pretty pink pattern paper to complete the design. This new stamp set was so much fun to create with and will be awesome for year-round projects.

Be sure to check out Simon Says Stamp for more details on this exclusive set, but don't delay because once they sell out, they will no longer be available to purchase.

Have a wonderful day!
