welcome Little One!

Happy Friday!

Tasha here, and today I'm sharing a sweet little card for our current Un-Bear-ably Cute! challenge from Art Impressions. I used the adorable new 6017 – Baby Panda Set—this little bear is just too cute with her balloons!

I began by stamping the baby panda and cutting her out with the coordinating die. For the background, I added a piece of Art Impressions’ cloud pattern paper. I used foam tape to lift the panda off the card slightly, giving her the look of floating through the sky with her pretty pink balloons.

For the sentiment, I stamped “Welcome Baby” and layered it with pink and gray patterned paper to match the panda’s colors. I also added a pink gingham background and finished it off with a silver glitter frame for a bit of sparkle.

I hope you enjoyed today’s project and feel inspired to join in on the Un-Bear-ably Cute! challenge.

Have a creative weekend and happy crafting!

This Easter Card is All Ears (and a Little Beak)!

 Happy Friday!

Tasha here sharing an Easter card inspired by the current Art Impressions "ABC, 123" Challenge. The project features the fun 5401-Easter Chicks Set and these bunny ears are just too cute!!!

To go with the Challenge theme, I used the 5562-Journal Letter Die Set for the greeting. Instead of having the letters go straight across, I decided to have them curve around the oval frame. I think this looks awesome and love the pop of pastel blue!

Lastly, I attached layers of yellow, white, and pastel blue cardstock and a piece of carrot pattern paper to bring in tons of Spring colors. I also added a scalloped frame to complete the design. This card makes me happy and I can't wait to send it to someone special this Easter!

I hope you will join in the "ABC, 123" Challenge and wish you all a Happy Easter!

Raining Cats and Dogs Challenge!

 Happy Friday Friends!

Tasha here sharing a new card inspired by the Art Impressions "It's Raining Cats and Dogs" Challenge. Art Impressions has so many cute cat and dog themed stamps and I thought it would be fun to have a little doggie playing in a puddle.

The sweet dog is from the 5101 - Dog House Cubbies Set and I used the coordinating included die set to cut him out. I love all the Ai cubbies sets and like to use the little characters with and without the main cubbies main image. The little dog looks so happy!

To complete this card, I stamped "Just a little note" from the 5797 - Little Things Sentiment Set. This sentiment set has so many greetings perfect for year-round cards and projects. I like to have some extra general cards in my card stash just in case I need a quick note. I also enjoy sending people cards randomly to let the person know I'm thinking of them.

I hope you enjoyed today's project and are having a wonderful day!

Happy Easter to All My Peeps!

 Happy Friday Friends!

Tasha here sharing an Easter card inspired by the current Art Impressions Pop It Up! Challenge. I have been having so much fun creating Easter cards featuring different bunny stamps from Art Impressions, but this little pop-up bunny may be my favorite! He is from the new 5870 - Peeking Bunny Set and looks so happy with the sweet chicks!

I started the card by stamping the bunny and Easter wagon, and colored the images with Copic Markers. To decorate the eggs, I used different ink colors and a white gel pen; I enjoyed making the patterns. After coloring, I used the coordinating dies (included in the set) to cut out the images. The dies cut a perfect opening for the bunny to pop up, so you don't have to worry about the bunny not fitting.

For the sentiment, I stamped "Happy Easter to All My Peeps!" from the 5733 – Easter Sentiments Set; I thought this worked great with the little chicks!

Lastly, I added pretty floral pattern paper, gray card stock, and gold glitter paper. I just love how this happy little card turned out and hope you are inspired to join in the Pop It Up! Challenge.

Have a wonderful day and Happy Easter!

Sending Lots of Bugs & Kisses Cards Featuring Art Impressions Stamps!

 Happy Friday!

Tasha here sharing two more cards inspired by the Ai April Showers Challenge created with the fun 5728-Mushroom Cubbies Set.

The first card is perfect for Spring and Summer with fluffy blue clouds in the background. Since I love butterflies, I have two flying around this little mushroom house. Cubbies are great since they include a variety of little characters that you can mix and match to create your custom scene. I may make one with just butterflies next and color them each a different color. I think that would be so pretty!

After the little house and characters were in place, I added green grass to the ground and attached the little gnome. I also added blue card stock, silver glitter paper, and pretty blue plaid pattern paper to complete the card.

The second card is a colorful design that makes me think of a magical land. Pink is one of my favorite colors, so I used it in the sky, mushroom house, and on the characters. I just love how the cool clouds turned out!

For the scene, I wanted to include a variety of characters. I love them all, but think the snail is my favorite one from this set since I tend to use it in each card I make. In addition to the sweet little snails, this card also has the fun caterpillar, dragonfly, butterfly, and the awesome gnome. This group of friends look like they are having a fun day together enjoying the warm weather.

To complete this card, I added a "Sending Lots of Bugs & Kisses" greeting and attached layers of pink card stock and pink glitter paper. You can never have too much pink!

I hope you enjoyed today's projects and are inspired to join in the Ai April Showers Challenge!

Have a wonderful day!

Dare 2B Artzy April Challenge - Birthday Card!

Good morning everyone!
Today starts the Dare 2B Artzy April Challenge and this month's theme is Kids. So it's a perfect time to share kid-themed cards, scrapbook layouts, 3D projects, or any other project!

For my card I used the new Cosmic Creatures Stamp Set and Paper Pack!

These monster/creatures are so fun! To make this card bright and happy, I used my favorite Sunburst Stencil to add green to the background and attached several stars from the Cosmic Creatures Die Set to the rays.

Lastly, I stamped "Monster Birthday Wishes" on to a slimline pierced banner. I used D2BA Margarita Lime Ink to add a pop of color to the greeting and coordinate with the green background. I also added little white dots to the background to complete the cosmic look.

Thank you for checking out my card and I hope you will join in the Dare 2B Artzy April Challenge!

Easter Chick Slimline Card by Tasha

Happy Friday!
Tasha here sharing an Easter card inspired by the Art Impressions Here Comes Peter Cottontail Challenge!

My card was created with the Hoppy Easter Stamp Set and the sweet little chick was colored with Copic Markers. I used a white gel pen to add a pattern to the egg to give an Easter egg look!

I used a cloud stencil and Distress Oxide Ink for the sky and a grass stencil for the ground. I also used green markers to add more detail to the grass and create a shadow under the little chick.

The greeting "Hoppy Easter!" was stamped with a light blue ink and I used green Distress Oxide Ink around the edges to bring in more color. I also added glitter paper around the sentiment and slimline card for extra sparkle!

Lastly, I added polka-dot pattern paper and little blue pearls to the sky to complete the happy card!

Thank you for checking out today's card and I hope you will join in the Ai Here Comes Peter Cottontail Challenge!

Have a great day!

FATHER'S DAY SLIMLINE CARD (VIDEO TUTORIAL)

Good morning everyone!

Tasha here sharing a Father's Day slimline card created with The Hedgehog Hollow April Subscription Box.

I started by stamping the main image with Color Hive Eclipse Black Ink and used the same ink for the "Happy Father's Day" sentiment. I love the handwritten script lettering!

Next, I used the Tool Time Stencil and Distress Oxide inks to create the background pattern. The green color looks great behind the bold black stamped tool images.

Check out my full tutorial below!

Lastly, I added four enamel dots, and layers of Hyde Park and Eclipse cardstock before adhering the card to a white slimline card base.

April Showers!

Hi Friends!
Tasha here sharing a Spring-themed card created with the D2BA April Showers Stamp Set!

I started by creating a raindrop stencil with the Land & Cloud Border Die Set and ink blending with Distress Oxide Ink. I wanted to create a spotlight around the girl image and love the colorful raindrops!

The girl was stamped with Totally Black Ink and colored with Copic Markers. I used the coordinating die set to cut the image out and foam tape to attach her to the card. I just love these rain boots!

The sentiment was stamped with Paradise Ink; this ink color is a beautiful shade of teal!

Lastly, I attached the card to teal glitter paper and D2BA Plaid Pattern Paper to complete the design.
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a wonderful day!

I Wool Always Love You!

 Happy Friday Ai Fans!

Tasha here sharing a card created with the new Funny Farm Sheep Set!

For this card, I wanted the lamb to be surrounded by flowers and the pretty wreath from the Floral Invites set worked perfectly! The sweet lamb looks so happy, doesn't it just make you smile!

To give a watercolor appearance, I stamped with Inkon3 Fadeout Ink and colored with Copic Markers. This is a fun technique that really gives your stamped images a different look.

The sentiment was embossed with white on deep orange cardstock and I used gold glitter paper to add sparkle. I also used the same orange and gold glitter paper for the card layers before attaching it to an A2 sized card base.

Thank you for stopping by today and I hope you enjoyed a peek at the new Sheep Set!

Have a wonderful day!
