A Day Well Spent Card Featuring Art Impressions Stamps!

 Happy Friday!
Tasha here sharing a card inspired by the new Ai Furries and Feathers Challenge #351. I love dogs and this challenge was a perfect opportunity to use the fun M4584 - Day Spent Window Stamp from Art Impressions

This image was stamped with black ink and colored with Copic Markers. I love that the Ai Windows have a little scene and a sentiment all in one stamp. This makes is super easy to create greeting cards or use on your scrapbook layout.

Lastly, I added layers of silver glitter paper, mirrored paper, a green pattern paper, and gray card stock. I also stenciled a cloud background to go behind the happy dog. I enjoy making clouds and thought the bright blue clouds worked well with the little Spring scene.

Thank you for checking out my project and I hope you all have a wonderful day!

Hello Spring Gatefold Card Featuring Art Impressions Stamps!

Happy Friday!

Tasha here sharing a Spring-themed card featuring the new 5717-Little Girl Front & Back Set and 5590 – Journal Butterfly Clasp from Art Impressions!

This new little girl stamp has quickly become a favorite for Spring and Easter cards. I love her outfit and that you can fill the basket with anything you want. I used markers to add little pink and purple flowers on this card, but I also have stamped flowers from the watercolor sets on an earlier project. It's so much fun to customize you cards!

The background was created with a cloud stencil, white gel pen, and blue Distress Oxide Ink. Doesn't this blue color look like a warm Spring day? I just cannot wait for the warmer weather!

I also added a green and white check paper for the ground and glued the word "Spring" from the new 5719-FB Fence & Window Set!

Lastly, I attached the 5590-Journal Butterfly Clasp to close the gate fold card. This clasp is the perfect size for journals, but can also be used on standard sized cards if you add a back panel. I love all the detail in the butterfly and cannot wait to make more of these cards!

I hope you enjoyed today's project and are having a wonderful day!

Paper Sweeties August Release and 10th Birthday Celebration! | Beach Card!

Happy Monday and welcome back to my Blog!
Today I'm starting the week off with this beach-themed card created with items from the Paper Sweeties August Release! August is also Paper Sweeties 10th Birthday Celebration!
See the Paper Sweeties Blog for more details!

For my project, I used the new  Vacation Stamp Set, Vacation Sweet CutsAnother Day in Paradise and the Another Day in Paradise Sweet Cuts. The Vacation set also includes two little wave stamps that can add detail to an inked water background. I used Distress Oxide Ink to create a blue ocean, stamped the little waves, and added white gel for the white caps.
The greeting "Wish you were here" was stamped with tan ink on to an ink blended sandy hill. I like that there are so many sentiments included in the Another Day in Paradise Set!
Lastly, I added sun rays to the background to look like a tropical sky, and masked off some clouds using the Vacation Sweet Cuts. I also attached bright green and orange card stock, and a pink Summer themed pattern paper to complete the card.
Thank you for checking out today's card and be sure to head over to the Paper Sweeties Blog for more inspiration and Birthday Celebration information!

It's A Love Thing Card Featuring Art Impressions Stamps!

 Happy Friday!

Tasha here sharing two new cards created with the sweet Ai 4752-Love Thing Set.

This set includes one main stamp of this cute couple and a sentiment. Both of my cards are very similar, but I used different colors and made the couple look completely different. It's fun to be creative and I love coloring clothing!
The first card's couple has a deeper skin tone and I used darker colors in their clothing. I also added little hearts to the man's socks for a fun Valentine's Day look. I love the socks!

The second couple has a fair skin tone and I used pastel colors. For the background I created a sky on both cards with a cloud stencil and light blue ink. I also added little ink dots for extra detail.

The sentiment "It's A Love Thing" was stamped on to a stitched heart on both cards. One card has an embossed greeting and one was stamped with black ink and I used Distress Oxide Ink around the edges.

Lastly, I created the ground and grass with markers and colored the benches. I also added coordinating paper layers before adhering the cards to an A2 sized card base.

Thank you for checking out today's project and I hope you are inspired to create a card with the Ai Love Thing Set!

I Really Miss You Card | Maker Forte

Happy Monday!

Tasha here sharing a new card created with the sweet Spending Time with You Stamp Set from Maker Forte!

The background was created with the Checkmate Stencil and little hearts from the Bear With Me stamp set. I used a white gel pen to add a stitched detail to the stenciled squares and hearts. I love this Valentine's Day look!

The sentiment is from the Spending Time with You Stamp Set and it was stamped with Color Hive Tiptree Jam Ink. I used the same ink color to stamp the tiny hearts and it looks great against the bright white paper!

Lastly I added layers of pink glitter paper and Mercury (Metallic Burgundy) Cardstock before attaching the card to a white card A2 sized card base.

I hope you enjoyed this project and are inspired to create with the Spending Time with You Stamp Set!
