Happy Birthday Gnomie!

 Happy Friday friends!

Tasha here sharing a cheerful birthday card inspired by the current Art Impressions Floral Frenzy Challenge. I couldn't resist pairing colorful spring tulips with one of the adorable garden gnomes for a fun birthday design.

I started by stamping the sweet gnome from the 5000-Gotta Garden Stamp Set (Retired) and surrounded him with beautiful tulips from the 6220-Sing to the Lord Set. I colored everything with Copic markers, keeping the flowers bright with shades of purple and orange for a happy spring feel. A soft blue sky and grassy background help bring the scene to life.

To frame the image, I layered it with gold glitter cardstock and added coordinating yellow and orange mats. The pretty floral pattern paper from the 6205-Floral Shop Paper Pack ties all of the colors together while keeping the focus on the stamped scene. I finished the card with a simple Happy Birthday greeting to make it perfect for celebrating someone special.

If you're looking for inspiration, be sure to join the Art Impressions Floral Frenzy Challenge. It's a fun way to pull out your favorite floral stamps and create something beautiful.

Have a wonderful Day!

Boo To You!

Happy Friday friends!

Tasha here sharing a Halloween card inspired by the current Summerween Challenge! For my project I used the cute trick-or-treating bunny from the 6112-Pumpkin Parade Set from Art Impressions to create a simple Halloween night scene.

The bunny was stamped with black ink and colored with Copic Markers. I used the coordinating die to cut her out and layered her on to the card with foam tape to give some dimension. Instead of coloring the background, I used a star stencil to add tons of glittery stars on to a dark blue sky. The stars a super sparkly in person and have a green almost glow-like look; I love all the stars!

To complete the card, I added Gold glitter paper for more sparkle, orange, purple and white card stock, and attached a ghost pattern paper layer to coordinate with the Halloween theme. I also added a fun "Boo To You" sentiment. I thought the greeting went perfectly with the ghost pattern paper.

I hope you enjoyed today's project and will join in the Summerween challenge!

Trick or Treat!

 Happy Friday friends!

Tasha here sharing a Halloween card inspired by the current Art Impression Summerween Challenge. I love creating Fall and not-so-scary Halloween projects, and this challenge is the perfect excuse to pull out your cute Halloween/Fall stamp sets and make something fun!

For my card, I used the 6112-Pumpkin Parade Set to create this sweet trick-or-treating scene. The little pirate fox is adorable and I LOVE the ghost car! I also added the happy owl to bring even more Halloween fun to the design.

To create the background, I used pattern paper from the 5849-Halloween S2 Paper Pack. I love this print with all the Halloween words. It adds lots of color and interest without taking away from the stamped characters.

To finish the card, I layered black, orange, and gold colored cardstock. The circle topper with the "Trick or Treat!" greeting adds a fun focal point and adhered a little black enamel heart to give the card a little extra dimension.

I hope this card inspires you to join the Art Impressions Summerween Challenge. It is a great time to dust off your favorite Halloween stamps and create something cute for the upcoming Fall season.

Thanks so much for stopping by today and I hope you have a wonderful weekend!

Christmas in July Challenge!

 Happy Friday friends!

Tasha here sharing a card inspired by the current Art Impressions Christmas in July Challenge.

I love making holiday cards and finding ways to use my everyday stamp sets for Christmas. For this card, I used the piggy from the 5180-Barnyard Animal Cubbies stamp set from Art Impressions and added a little Santa hat to make him holiday ready.

For the background scene, I used a stamp from the retired Sleigh Ride Circlet MTF set. I love the little wreath on the tree and the falling snow. It makes such a sweet winter scene.

I finished the card with pattern paper from the 6143-Woodland Christmas Paper Pack, layered it with red, gray, and white cardstock, and added a simple "Peace, Love & Joy" sentiment.

Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope this card inspires you to give your non-holiday stamps a festive twist and join the Christmas in July Challenge.

Let Freedom Ring!

 Happy Friday Friends!

Tasha here sharing a patriotic card to kick off the big Fourth of July weekend. This card features the fun 6077-Loungin' Linda set and paper from the 6090-Patriotic Paper Pack from Art Impressions . I love all the fireworks!

To begin this card, I stamped Linda and used the included die to cut her out before coloring. I used Copic Markers to color her and added details with a white gel pen; I think she looks awesome in her Red, White & Blue outfit.

To add to the Americana theme, I added the flag from the 5494-Front Porch Patriotic Set and used a piece of firework pattern paper for the background. Linda looks like she is enjoying all the 4th of July festivities!

Lastly, I attached a "Let Freedom Ring" sentiment and layers of Red and Blue cardstock and silver glitter paper for sparkle.  I think this card is fun and perfect to send to someone this Summer.

Happy 4th of July!

Royal Birthday Card!

 Happy Friday friends!

Tasha here sharing a birthday card featuring the 5916 -Woodland Castle Set from Art Impressions. I love medieval and fairytale-themed stamps, and this card is perfect for celebrating a little princess or queen on her birthday.

The birthday greeting is from the 5735 -Birthday Sentiment Set, and it was the perfect fit for this design. I kept the center panel simple so the castle could take center stage. A little grass and soft ink blending were all it needed to create a sweet little scene.

To finish the card, I layered silver glitter paper with pink and purple cardstock and added a piece of beautiful Art Impressions floral patterned paper. The purple, white, and pink color combination complements the castle perfectly and adds a fun, whimsical feel.

Thanks so much for stopping by today. I hope you have a wonderful weekend!

Happy Father's Day!

Happy Friday Friends!

Tasha here sharing a Father's Day card featuring the 5406 -Mr. Set from Art Impressions. This sharp-dressed gentleman is ready for summer and has his hammer in hand to tackle any project!

I stamped the man, hammer, and tool belt, then used the coordinating dies to cut them out. The hand die includes an opening to hold the hammer, and I customized the tool belt by removing the tape measure for a unique look.

For the background, I added an embossed floor with silver metallic wax on black cardstock and a brick pattern to complement the handyman theme. To finish the card, I layered tan, cream, and brown cardstock with a piece of Art Impressions plaid paper. I love how these colors and patterns come together for a fun masculine design.

Thanks for stopping by today!

Happy Birthday!

 Happy Friday friends!

Tasha here sharing a new birthday card created with the sweet Party Bear Freebie Stamp and 6178-Birthday Wishes Stamp Set from Art Impressions. The little freebie bears are all so cute, and this one is great for a birthday card or gift tag. I love his cute smile and the balloon!

For this little party scene, I stamped the bear and used masking paper before stenciling the brick wall background. I love the color pink and wanted this card to be bight and full of pink color, so I used a variety of shades to customize the design. I also added Distress Oxide ink around the edges of the center card to create a spotlight effect around the bear.
For the greeting, I stamped "Happy Birthday" from the 6178-Birthday Wishes Stamp Set. Instead of coloring in the letters completely, I used pink Copic Markers on the bottom and kept the tops white to give the words an ombre look. I also added little white accents with a white gel pen; I think it looks sparkly.

Lastly, I added layers of pink, orange, and white card stock and a piece of pink plaid pattern paper. I have been really into bright colors white pops of bright on my cards lately and pink and orange always look great together!

Thank you for checking out today's project and I hope you are having a wonderful day!

Stay Fabulous!

 Happy Friday!

Tasha here sharing a Summer card featuring the fun 5928-Stay Hydrated Set from Art Impressions. Every time I use this stamp set this lady reminds me of myself and the large tumblers that I tote around. I do not have a leopard print one, but would totally get this colorful design!

For the card, I stamped the lady and used the included die to cut the image out. After, I used Copic Markers for the coloring and added details with a black liner pen and white gel pen. Coloring clothing is one of my favorite things to do and this outfit looks perfect for enjoying a warm day outside. I also love her cool, sunglasses!

Lastly, I created a simple background and cut the center card and frame layer with wavy rectangle dies. I thought this creative border would go with the Summer vibe. I also added layers of cream and orange card stock and a piece of Art Impressions pattern paper to bring in more color and interest. This print is so fun and the color worked great with the shades used on the center card.

I hope you enjoyed this project and are having a wonderful day!

Serving Sass and Smashes!

 Happy Friday  Friends!

Tasha here sharing a pickleball card created with the fun 6074-Pickleball Patty Set and 6097-Pickleball Paper Pack from Art Impressions. I recently got this set and think it's just perfect for all my pickleball playing friends. Patty looks like she is living her best life on the court and I love her outfit!

This card was also inspired by the current challenge. The challenge is all about the color Yellow, so I used the color on Patty's outfit and on the bottom card stock layer. I love the pink & yellow color combination with the blue plaid paper!
Lastly, I stamped "Serving Sass and Smashes!" on to a coordinating scalloped frame. I also used a large scalloped frame to cut the center card. I think scalloped edges give a nice polished look to cards and like that this set includes a variety of sizes.

Thank you for checking out today's project and I hope you are having a wonderful day!

Seek Wisdom!

Happy Friday  friends!

Tasha here sharing a card created with the new 6203-Wisdom Set 1 and 6204-Wisdom Set 2 from Art Impressions. These sets are perfect for so many different projects, and the images can be used on their own or combined for completely different looks.

As soon as I looked through the stamps in Wisdom Set 1, I was drawn to the owl and jewels and knew I wanted to create something featuring both images. To make this scene, I stamped the owl first and covered him with masking paper before stamping the jewels. I also masked the jewels before stamping the large banner so it would sit nicely in the background. Masking paper is definitely one of my favorite crafting tools!

I usually reach for bright colors with lots of pink and white, but this time I wanted to try something a little different. I used shades of brown inspired by the owl and blended Distress Oxide inks around the center panel to give the card a soft vintage feel. For a little extra detail, I added a piece of Art Impressions patterned paper that worked perfectly with the colors and overall theme of the card.

To finish everything off, I stamped two sentiments from Wisdom Set 2. The longer sentiment fit beautifully across the banner, and the larger “Seek Wisdom” greeting was layered with the same tan and brown cardstock used throughout the design.

I hope you enjoyed today’s project and are having a wonderful start to your weekend!

Many Thanks Friend!

 Happy Friday Friends!

Tasha here sharing a bright Spring card created with the new 6188-FG Daisy Border Stamp Set from Art Impressions . Now that we are in the month of May, this stamp set is getting me excited for the pretty flowers to start popping up. I have a variety of flowers, one flowering tree, and a lilac bush at my house and just love when everything is in full bloom.

To make this card, I stamped the floral image and colored the flowers with Copic Markers. I was going to have white petals, but wanted more color and love the pop of blue. To embellish, I used a white gel pen to add little accents and ink blended around the border with orange Distress Oxide ink. I also used foam tape to raise the center card up; I think the foam makes the inked edges really stand out nicely.

For the greeting, I stamped "Many Thanks" from the 6186-FG Tulip Border Set and matted it with gold glitter paper. To add more detail, I used the 6048-Scalloped Rectangle Dies; the two smallest dies created this layered look.

Lastly, I attached pretty yellow floral pattern paper, and orange, white, and pink cardstock. I wanted to coordinate with the colors used on the flowers and keep the colors light and bright to complete the design.

Thank you so much for checking out my card and I hope you are having a wonderful day!
