Hi D2BA Friends!
Tasha here sharing a summer-themed card created with the fun Flip Flops stamp set and coordinating die set.
The chair image was stamped with D2BA Paradise Ink (A beautiful teal color) and cut with the coordinating die. I added little accents with white gel and I like the beachy vibe it gives the chair.
This set includes several sentiments, and I wanted this quote to be the center of attention on this project. I stamped it with D2BA Totally Black ink and colored in the "Tide" word with a matching Copic marker. I also used Distress Oxide ink along the edges to add more color.
To create the beach scene, I started with a sand color for the card base. next, I cut waves from paper that I colored with Distress oxide ink and stamped with the little D2BA waves stamps. Lastly, I added a layer of waves using D2BA pattern paper which is one of my favorite prints!
To complete the card I added D2BA pattern paper behind the sentiment and on the side panels. I also added sparkle with a thin layer of blue glitter card stock; I just love the blue shimmer!
