Good morning and happy Sunday!
It's finally Fall and time for the Dare 2B Artzy October Challenge. This month's theme is "Cute Animals" which is one of my favorite themes; I love animals!
This fall scene was created by layered black tress on to an ink blended background. To give the trees a Fall look, I used metallic markers to add a leaf-like look and add tons of texture. The little critters are from the Foxy Greetings stamp set and were stamped with Totally Black D2BA ink. I colored with Copic markers and layered on the card with foam tape. How cute are these critters!
I decided to not add a sentiment and just make it more of a piece of art. To complete the card, I added layers of black and gold to coordinate with the golden tones in the sky. Lastly, I attached it to a white 100lb card base.
