Aloha!

Good morning Friends!
Tasha here sharing a card created with the beautiful new Aloha Hibiscus stamp set from Dare 2B Artzy. I just love these pretty flowers; makes me think of warm tropical weather!

To create this card I stamped two different sizes of flowers with Totally Black ink (my favorite ink!) and colored them with Copic markers. Next, I stamped a set of leaves with Margarita Lime ink and used a green marker to shade the edges. I used the coordinating die set to cut all the elements out and applied clear glitter on top for shimmer and white gel pen to add little accent dots.

For the background, I used three shades of Distress Oxide ink to give the card tons of color and add to the tropical feel. This ink blended color combo reminds me of a pretty sunset and works perfectly with the orange in pink shades used on the flowers!

The sentiment "Aloha" was also stamped with Totally Black ink in the center of a black glitter scalloped frame. I am such a sucker for all things glitter and just had to add more sparkle!

Lastly, I layered a piece of blue & white pattern paper from the new Seas the Day paper collection on to a bright yellow A2 sized card base.

Thank you so much for stopping by today and I hope you are inspired to create a fun tropical card with the new Aloha Hibiscus stamp set from Dare 2B Artzy!
