Tasha here sharing a retro themed Father's Day card created with the awesome Dare 2B Artzy Classic Dad stamp set.
The retro card image was stamped with Totally Black D2BA ink and painted with shades of blue. The blue watercolor is soft and adds to the classic feel of the design. I also added some glitter on top to add shimmer and shine.
The sentiment "Happy Father's Day" was stamped with the same ink on to the watercolor paper. I wanted to keep this card clean & simple, and to focus on the cool car in the center.
To add a little more glitter without too much sparkle, I used a black glitter paper layer and only had it shown on two of the four sides. I like this look and filled the other sides with a coordinating blue card stock. The light blue matches perfectly with the car and really pops next to the black and white layers.
Lastly, I created a painted pretty yellow sky and layered the project on to a A2 sized white card base. I hope you enjoyed this card and are inspired to create a retro Father's Day card for a special person in your life!
