You’re koala-fied to be my Valentine!

 Happy Friday Friends!

Tasha here sharing a Valentine's Day card inspired by the Art Impressions Monochromatic Challenge. Since Valentine's Day is just around the corner, it's a perfect time to get started on Valentine's Day cards. I used the Koalas Set for the main image and different shades of pink to go with the challenge theme; I love all the pink colors!

I started by stamping the little koala on to white card stock and also stamped him on a piece of masking paper. Before ink blending, I used a heart die to cut the center heart out and the pink frame. After the heart was cut, I masked the koala and used two shades of Distress Oxide Ink to color in the background. I like how the lighter color around the image looks like a spotlight.
After the heart was completed, I attached layers of pink cardstock and a piece of Art Impressions heart pattern paper. I also stamped the greeting "Happy Valentine's Day"with pink ink to coordinate with all the colors.

Lastly, I added little white hearts to the background of the center heart to complete the design.
I hope you enjoyed today's project and are inspired to create a monochromatic Valentine's Day card!

Have a wonderful day!
