Tasha here sharing two cards created with the New Just Chillin' stamp set from Dare 2BArtzy! I have been having so much fun creating with these cute stamps and love that this set has sentiments for New Year's!
My first card is bright and would work for a holiday or winter card. I used the D2BA Trellis Die to create a stencil for the background and layered the stamped image with foam tape. I stamped the image with Totally Black ink and colored it with markers.
For the sentiment, I used the two banner dies from the Wavy Slimline Framelit set. The "Happy Holidays" greeting was stamped on white paper, but I continued with the purple theme with the larger bottom banner.
The second card uses the same stamp set, but I created a New Year's slimline card with the two penguin stamps.
I created a little winter scene on the top half of the card and used the coordinating dies to cut the penguins and glasses out. I made little stars on the sky with a white gel pen and added dots in the glasses to make it look like sparkling wine.
The sentiment on this card is a mix of paper layering and stamping. The Cheers Word Die is layered with white, silver glitter, and blue D2BA pattern paper. The stamped sentiment "To the New Year!" was stamped with Totally Black ink and I like that the wording is small enough to fit on one side of the Cheers die cut.
Lastly, I added layers of silver glitter, pink, and the D2BA blue paper before attaching the card to a pink card base. I think these colors are awesome for a New Year's card and I'm looking forward to sending this out later this month!
