Guest DT: Crafter's Castle July Challenge

Hi everyone and welcome back to my blog!
This year has been flying by and it's already time for another fun crafty challenge from The Crater's Castle Blog. This month's theme is "Christmas in July" and is sponsored by SheepSki Designs!
My Christmas card was created using the super fun "Huddle" Digital Stamp. Penguins are one of my favorite animals and I could not wait to use this digi! Each critter is so cute and I love that they have different winter gear on to make it look like a group picture. The one with glasses is my favorite!

The "Merry Christmas" sentiment used was a stamp I already owned, but I thought the teal ink color worked perfectly with the theme. To add a little more detail, I attached an enamel heart in a coordinating color. I also added some clear glitter to the hats and snow for some sparkle. It's hard to see in the pictures, but it looks so pretty when the light shines on the card!

Lastly, I layered the card on to layers of silver glitter, pink, and blue card stock before adhering it to a white card base. I love this design and can not wait to send it out this Christmas!
