D2BA DT Project: Handmade Basket

Hi friends!
Tasha here sharing a handmade basket just in time for Easter!

The base was created with one piece of Dare 2B Artzy pattern paper from the Summertime Petals Paper Collection. The red with little white flowers are so cute for a springtime project!

To add more detail, I used ribbon pattern paper from the same collection and cut out a white bow with the coordinating bow die from the "Fresh Picked" die set. It's so cool that the die cuts the paper images!

To complete the basket, I stamped the "For You" with D2BA Totally Black ink and added a little pink rhinestone to the center of the bow. This basket can fit candy, a gift card, or any type of small goodies for someone special!

Thanks for stopping by and be sure to check out this month's challenge!

Have a wonderful day!
Tutorial:
-Cut cardstock to 6x6"
Handle (1/2" x 6")

-Score each side at  1-7/8"

-Score the top and bottom square on each side at 5/8" and 1-1/4

-Cut two of the center squares to create a triangle as shown below. (The center is at the 3" mark)

-Cut the two score lines in each square as shown below.

-Gather the cut strips starting with the one closest to the triangle and staple to the triangle to form the base. The tip can be folded or cut.

-Lastly, decorate and enjoy! :)
