Hello Spring!

Happy Friday friends!

Tasha here sharing a Spring card featuring the super cute 6008 Bunny Hugs Set and 6046 Scalloped Oval Dies. With Spring only a few days away, I have been pulling out my Spring and Easter sets and I cannot stop coloring the bunny stamps. I love all of them, but this sweet bunny with the tulips felt just right for this time of year.

For this card, I stamped the image in black ink and colored it with Copic Markers. I chose a pretty floral pattern paper for the background and matched the tulip colors to the soft pastel shades in the paper. I really love how those colors came together.

For the center, I used cloud and grass stencils to create a simple outdoor scene. I added a few glitter enamel sparkles to the clouds for a little texture and shine. I always like adding a bit of sparkle.

To finish the card, I used a scalloped oval die cut from metallic pink cardstock and layered it with dark purple, white, and lavender cardstock to coordinate with the flowers.

Hello Spring!

Happy Fall Y'all!

Tasha here sharing a Fall themed card inspired by the current Art Impressions "Not Just Paper" Challenge.  My card features the super cute 5507 - Harvest Together Set and has a little bow and leaf stickers to go with the challenge theme. I love these colors!

I stamped the main image with black ink and used the included dies to cut it out. I used markers for the coloring and added little accents with a white gel pen; I love my gel pens! I also stenciled a pretty background to bring in more color and add to the Fall feel of the card. 

Lastly, I embossed "Happy Fall, Y'all" on to tan paper and added layers of gold glitter paper, colored card stock, and Art Impressions pattern paper to complete the card.

You're So Sweet!

 Happy Friday Friends!

Tasha here sharing a new card featuring the super cute 5904 - So Sweet Armful Set from Art Impressions. The new Armful sets are so much fun to color and you can mix and match the little accessory stamps.

To make my card, I stamped the elephant and cupcake with black ink and used Copic Markers for the coloring. After coloring, I used the included die set to cut both images out. I love sets that include dies, it makes it so easy to create with the little characters!

To coordinate with the colors used on the elephant, I added layers of purple, blue, gray, and white paper. The gray and white heart pattern paper adds color to the background, while allowing the elephant image to still be the main focus. Doesn't he look so happy with his sweet treat?

Lastly, I stamped the sentiment "You're So Sweet" with purple ink and attached a metallic purple paper bow. For a little bling, I glued on a clear rhinestone to the center of the bow to complete the card.

You're So Sweet!

Salon Time!

Tasha here sharing a card created with the new Village Sets and super cute Exclusive Candy Shop stamp from Art Impressions. I was so excited that the new exclusive stamps were little buildings and are small enough to fit into mini albums, planners, journals, cards, tags, and scrapbooks; perfect size!

I started by stamping the Candy Shop image and added the word "Salon" to the sign. It's great that the sign is blank, so you can stamp/write anything you want to customize it. To add the other details, I used masking paper to block off areas before stamping the bushes, fence, pathway, and scooter. This masking process does take some time, but I just love the way all these stamps work together!

After all the stamping was done, I added blue fluffy clouds to the sky and colored the rest of the card with markers. I also used a white gel pen to add in little accents. 

To complete the card, I attached silver glitter paper, pink and black card stock, and a piece of fun heart pattern paper. This design turned out so cute and look forward to making more projects with these little stamps!

Spring Hello Friend Card!

Tasha here, sharing a cheerful card featuring the playful 5000 - Gotta Garden Set from Art Impressions. With spring on the horizon, I'm excited to dive into planting new flowers. This lovely lady from the set looks ready to enjoy gardening on a beautiful spring day.

For this card, I stamped the lady and used masking paper to protect her while I painted the sky and ground. Instead of using a cloud stencil, I made a unique blue background and added fluffy white clouds. The bright white clouds pop against the pretty blue colors.

To finish the card, I layered black cardstock, gold glitter paper, and a bright yellow plaid paper to match the blue colors. I adore blue and yellow combinations!

Spring Hello Friend Card!

Santa Paws Card!

 Happy Friday!

Tasha here sharing a card inspired by the new Art Impressions "You're Such a Square!" Challenge. We are heading into the holiday season and the 4937 - Santa Paws Set is "pawsome" for Christmas cards and projects! 

The little doggie was stamped with black ink and colored with markers. I think his holiday sweater is just so cute and this would totally be something I would make my dogs wear; I also love his hat!

For the greeting, I used one of the included sentiment stamps and this one goes perfectly with the over-dressed dog. I also added green distress oxide ink and white dots to the background to make the center around the greeting glow and I thought the white dots looked like falling snow.

Lastly, I added a piece of holiday pattern paper and layers of green card stock and green glitter before attaching the card to a white card base.

Tasha here sharing a Christmas card created for the Art Impressions Christmas Came Early Challenge. For my project I'm featuring the cute 5098 - Cozy Cubbies Set and the 5566 - Christmas Sentiments Set. I love these cute little cat stamps!!!

Art Impressions has so many cat stamp sets and it's fun to mix the sets or think of new ways to use the stamps. To give the design a Christmas feel, I drew little lights around the cat tree and used holiday colors throughout the card. I also added a little snowflake design on the cat toy, it reminds me of an ornament,

For the greeting, I embossed with white on to red card stock to bring in more red color and cut around the words with scissors. I just love the way embossed letters look; so pretty!

Lastly, I added layers of green and tan card stock and a paw print holiday pattern paper. I think this card is so happy and will be great to send to someone special this holiday season!

Have a Bee-utiful Birthday! Card Featuring Dare 2B Artzy Stamps!

Tasha here sharing a new bee-themed birthday card featuring stamps from Dare 2B Artzy! For my project, I used the Buzzy Bees Stamp Set, Happy Sentiments Stamp Set, and the new Bloom with Grace Stamp Set.

To begin this project, I stamped the bottom of the card with the large floral stamp from the Bloom with Grace Stamp Set with Totally Black Ink. I colored all the flowers with pink and purple Copic Markers and added little white accents with a gel pen. I love this color combination!

For the greeting I stamped "Happy Birthday" from the Happy Sentiments Stamp Set and created a frame with the Rectangle Fancy Framelit Die Set. The black, yellow, and white colors used in the background were inspirited by the happy little bee image from the Buzzy Bees Stamp Set. I love bees and think this card is perfect to give to someone special on their birthday!

Lastly, I added white gel dots to the black background and attached layers of purple glitter, gold paper, and black card stock to complete the design.

Have a Bee-utiful Birthday! Card Featuring Dare 2B Artzy Stamps!

Let the Good Times Roll Card Featuring Dare 2B Artzy "Felling Groovy" Collection!

Happy Tuesday Friends! 

Tasha here sharing a retro birthday card created with the fun new "Good Times Roll" stamp set from Dare 2B Artzy! This stamp set is so cute and I love the flowers on the roller skate!

To go with the 70's theme, I started by created a bright colorful background with the "Wild Flower Stencil" and orange & pink inks. I added the color in a swirl design to give a tie-dye look. These colors are so pretty!

For the roller skate, I stamped it with D2BA Totally Black Ink and colored it with Copic Markers to coordinate with the floral background design. To cut the image out, I used the coordinating die set and also added foam tape to attach the skate to the card. I love having stamped images raised up on my projects!

Lastly, I attached gold foil paper, D2BA Pattern Paper, and black cardstock layers and several frosted enamel dots to complete the card. I think this design is perfect for a birthday card or hello card to someone special and I cannot wait to make more!

Kindred Stamps February Release - Sweet Tooth and Home Sweet Home Sneak Peek!

Hi everyone! 

Today I am excited to share a sneak peek of the new Sweet Tooth Stamp Set and Home Sweet Home Set from Kindred Stamp's February Release! This month has a fun candy theme and I am loving the sweet characters used on my projects!

My first card is a colorful mini slimline design and used all of the includes characters from the Sweet Tooth Set. I drew in the background to create a sweet little scene. I love all the details on the characters!

The second card is a fancy fold that features the Home Sweet Home Set. This castle is so cute with the ice cream cone-look and the large sentiment is perfect for this interactive fold!

I also layered on a piece of the new candy themed pattern paper and attached the king from the Sweet Tooth Set. These sets work great together and can this bright candy themed paper is perfect for year-round crafts!

For the inside panel, I stamped a greeting from the Sweet Tooth Set and several gumdrops. Dots are one of my favorite sweet treats and I think they look cute on the inside of this card!

The third card features a blue color theme and one of the characters from the Sweet Tooth Set. I think this card is just so pretty with all the sparkle and blue colors. The queen also has a cool outfit and I love her hair!!!

For the background, I created a rainbow design using the new Candy themed stencil. This is a two-piece stencil set and the detail on the candy is fabulous!
