Tasha here sharing a new holiday card featuring the 5929 - Christmas Train Set from Art Impressions. Today is the first day of November, so it's time to get a jump start on holiday card making and this set is perfect for this year's Christmas cards, gift tags, and craft projects!

This set includes the coordinating dies and you can mix and match the train cars to fit your project. I decided to create a slimline card and wanted to use as many little penguins that would fit; I love penguins!!! My favorite part was coloring the little hats and scarves, I made each one a different color and used a white gel pen to give a knitted look.

For the greeting, I embossed "Choo-Choo Merry Christmas" directly on to one of the train cars and love how the bright white color pops against the dark red. To go with the holiday theme, I colored the train in shades of red & green and attached holly to three cars for extra detail.

Lastly, I added a night sky and white paper for the ground to resemble a snowy hill; I like the Winter night look. To continue with the holiday theme, I attached layers of black and red card stock, and snowflake pattern paper. I also adhered little peppermint shaped enamel pieces to the train's wheels and added red glitter to the berries to complete the design.

Happy Halloween Slimline Card!

 Happy Friday!

Tasha here sharing a Halloween slimline card inspired by the current Art Impressions "All the Fall" Challenge. My project features the fun 5460-Halloween Slimline Set and I just LOVE these cute little critters!

I started by stamping the main image and leaves with black ink and used the included coordinating dies to cut them out. It can be a challenge at times to create with large stamps, but I think having a little outdoor scene with a bright moon was a great way to highlight the furry friends and their pumpkins.

The sentiment I selected is from the 5037-Halloween Magic Set; another one of my favorite sets. I embossed the greeting on to black paper and think the bright white goes great with moon and sky background. 

Lastly, I attached gold glitter paper, deep teal and black card stock, and a layer of pretty leaf print pattern paper. I also added a little Distress Oxide Ink to the moon to complete the card.

Happy Halloween Slimline Card!

Kindred Stamps June Release - Unusual Ones Stamp Set Sneak Peek!

Hi everyone! 

Today I'm so excited to share a sneak peek of the new Unusual Ones Stamp Set from the Kindred Stamps June Release! 

My first card features the brother, sister, and a little hand stamps. For the background, I used the Haunted House Die, Spooky Fence Die, and little bat stamps to make the scene; I just love this slimline card!

For the second project, I wanted to make a romantic card featuring the husband and wife stamps. I used the New Spider Web Border Craft Die, Graveyard Scene Craft Die, and new pattern paper to make a spooky background. I thought the graveyard went perfectly with the "Love You To Death" sentiment! 

The third card features a non-so-scary werewolf girl. For the background, I used the Spooky Tree Die and Tree Scene craft die to make it look like she was in the woods. This stylish Lycan looks so sweet, but don't make her "Wolf Out"! 

Finally, The last project is a fun dance themed card featuring the last image included in the set. I used the Stage Curtain Craft Die Set, Stage Builder Stencil , and the Distress Brick Stencil to make the background. I also added paper from the new Kindred Stamps paper pad to bring in more colors, I thought the polka-dots added to the musical vibe.

Kindred Stamps June Release - Unusual Ones Stamp Set Sneak Peek!

Valentine's Day Mini Slimline Featuring Dare 2B Artzy Stamps!

Happy Tuesday Friends!

Tasha here sharing a mini slimline card created with the Slim Mini Heart Background Die Set and Spit Happens Stamp Set from Dare 2B Artzy!

This Alpaca stamp set is one of my favorites and I like to try to think of new ways to use my stamps, so I thought he would be perfect on a Valentine's Day card! I started by stamping the image with D2BA Totally Black Ink and used the coordinating die set to cut her out. To add to the Valentine's Day look, I added lots of red color and drew in little white hearts on the saddle and scarf. I love how this turned out!

For the background, I used the D2BA Slim Mini Heart Background Die Set. I wanted the pink and teal colors to pop, so I decided to leave the background white. I also stamped the sentiment "I Love You" with red ink to bring in more color. The red, pink, and teal colors throughout this card are so pretty!

Lastly, I attached red glitter paper and a piece of D2BA floral print pattern paper to complete the design.

Valentine's Day Mini Slimline Featuring Dare 2B Artzy Stamps!

Dare 2B Artzy December Challenge - Clean & Simple

Good morning and welcome back to my blog!

Sharing a new card created for the Dare 2B Artzy December Challenge. This month's theme is "Clean & Simple" and I used the cute Reindeer Games Set to make a holiday slimline card.

The cute little reindeer was stamped with D2BA Totally Black Ink and colored with markers. I used the coordinating die set to cut out the deer; I love how he looks like he is holding the sign!

For the greeting, I stamped "Merry Christmas" from the Toboggan Fun Stamp Set. I like that the two words have a different font style; so modern! 

Lastly, I added layers of D2BA pattern paper and red & green card stock. D2BA has wonderful pattern paper and the snowflake print adds so much detail to the background.

Dare 2B Artzy December Challenge - Clean & Simple

Have a rawr-some Holiday Card Featuring Maker Forte Stamps!

Hi everyone! 

Tasha here sharing a holiday card created with the T-rrific Holiday Stamp Set from Maker Forte! This set is so fun and gives a unique look to your holiday cards and projects!

The image was stamped with Color Hive Eclipse Black Ink and colored with Copic Makers. I also used a white gel pen to make a snowy scene; I love the Dinosaurs! 

Since this stamp is smaller in size, I thought it would look cute on a mini slimline card. I framed the image with pink paper and used a piece of polka-dot pattern paper from Maker Forte to add a festive look. The pink paper with the green Dinos is just too cute!

The greeting "Have a rawr-some Holiday!" was stamped with the same black ink and layered with dark green paper. The set included several Santa/Dino combinations and a variety of sentiments to choose from. 

To complete the card, I added layers of coral and dark green card stock and attached it to a white mini slimline card base.

Have a rawr-some Holiday Card Featuring Maker Forte Stamps!

It's Par-Tee Time! Mini Slimline Card Featuring Art Impressions Stamps!

 Happy Friday!

Today I'm sharing a mini slimline card created with the  4902 - Par-Tee Golfers Set from Art Impressions! This set includes two character stamps, a variety of sentiments, and fun golf accessories to customize your design. My card features the male golfer zipping around with his golf cart to the next hole. 

I stamped the image with black ink and colored him with Copic Markers. I used Distress Oxide Ink and a puffy cloud stencil to make the sky and drew in the grass. I love his golf clothing and had fun coloring his outfit; I love these socks!!!

Lastly, I stamped the sentiment "I can drive 300 yards...IN MY GOLF CART!" with gray ink. I also added layers of blue cardstock and black pattern paper before attaching it to a white mini slimline card base.

It's Par-Tee Time! Mini Slimline Card Featuring Art Impressions Stamps!

Kindred Stamps June Release Sneak Peek | Yaaas Queens Stamp Set!

Happy Tuesday!

Today I'm sharing a sneak peek of the new Yaaas Queens Set from the Kind Stamps June release! This set is fabulous and I love all the characters included!

My first card features the sassy comedy queen and a mini slimline design. I stenciled the background with the Star Slimline Stencil and added colorful paper from the Pride Paper Pack. 

The second card features a queen with her cotton candy couture dress and pretty pink hair. I wanted this design to be bright and was inspired by pink cotton candy. I also love the Hiiiieeee sentiment!

Next, I have a queen who is ready to rock the runway or a dance off in her leather outfit. I used the Stage Builder Stencil to create the spotlight and added some yellow dots to the background. A colorful striped pattern paper brought in more color and goes great with this scene!

The last card is so colorful and works great with this queen's cute dress and bow. I used a heart stencil and pastel ink colors to create the background and added layers of pink and green paper. 

To complete the card, I cut a circle frame with the Card Basics Die Set to surround the queen with glitter, and I embossed the sentiment "Halleloo" on to black card stock. I love the black & white greeting!

Kindred Stamps June Release Sneak Peek | Yaaas Queens Stamp Set!

Coffee Time Mini Slimline Card Featuring Kat Scrappiness Stamps!

Happy Saturday Friends!

Tasha here sharing a coffee-themed mini slimline card! I LOVE the Quokka from the Everyday Quokka Stamp Set and thought it would be fun to make a coffee-themed card with the little mug!

The Quokka was stamped with black ink and colored with Copic Markers. I also added little white dots to his cheeks and created a heart on his mug with a white gel pen. Doesn't this cute Quokka make you smile?

To crehe background, I used the cool Mini Slimline Heart Sunburst Die. The plaid pattern paper is from the Heartfelt Wishes - Slimline Paper Pad and the colors work perfectly with the coffee theme!

For the sentiment, I selected a heart from the Stitched Scalloped Heart Die Set and embossed the greeting with white fine embossing powder. The "Let's Get Caffeinated" Stamp Set has several fun coffee-themed greetings and the designs are fun and modern!

To complete the card I layered a piece of deep orange paper before attaching the card to a white mini slimline card base.

Coffee Time Mini Slimline Card Featuring Kat Scrappiness Stamps!

Happy Spring Slimline Card Featuring Maker Forte Stamps!

Good morning everyone!

Tasha here sharing a Spring-themed slimline card featuring the new Bunny Patch Stamp Set from Maker Forte!

All of the images were stamped with Color Hive Eclipse Black Ink and colored with Copic Markers. I stamped the sign directly on to the front of the card and cut out all the other stamped images. I love the bunny pair!

For the background, I used the stencil from the Stamp & Stencil Silhouette - Wildflowers & Butterflies Set to create sun rays. The bright yellow sky is so pretty and it worked great behind the Happy Spring greeting!

Lastly, I added layers of orange paper and Welsh Dragon Cardstock before attaching the card to a white slimline card base. This card makes me smile and I'm looking forward to mailing it to someone special this Spring season!
