My card was created using the fun Twist N Pop Kit from The Paper Cut in the color "Orange Fizz" and several Dare 2B Artzy stamp sets. Fancy card folds are so fun and The Paper Cut's pre-made designs makes it easy since all the folds are made for you.
Now that the Christmas season is in full swing, I wanted to make a holiday card combing the Alpaca Cake and Spit Happens stamp sets from D2BA. I love these sweet Alpaca images and thought they would look awesome with the orange card base.
When the card is closed you see this beautiful orange card stock.
Opening the card allows the inside panel to twist open and reveal your design. The Paper Cut card base comes pre-scored and assembling the card is as easy as adding some glue runner to two sides to adhere it to the white inside layer. Quick and easy (Love it!).
Christmas colors were used to continue with the holiday theme and I thought this Alpaca's necklace totally looked like ornaments.
Being that these stamp sets are not Christmas specific, I drew on holiday lights around the cactus image. I like this look and thought this was a fun way to use this stamp.
Lastly, the Sending Warm Christmas Wishes sentiment was stamped across the panels. This is actually a combination of two stamp sets. I have been challenging myself to think of new ways to use my current stamps and enjoyed using my adorable alpacas in a holiday card!
To give the card a winter wonderland feel, I used a light blue cardstock layer and stamped random snowflakes in the background with a coordinating ink color. This blue color looks amazing with the orange!
