Thank-You Easel Card

Hi, friends!

Tasha here sharing a new thank-you easel card!

The base was created with navy blue cardstock and layered with white textured paper and cool plaid D2BA pattern paper. I love the colors in this plaid print!

The sentiment was cut with the new "Thanks" layer die set; the word was so easy to cut out and I like that the shadow is optional!

When you open the card, a sweet message is revealed. I selected "You are simply Wonderful" from the Blissful Blooms set and stamped it in orange. I wanted a bright color and the orange pops against the white.

Lastly, I embellished with flowers from the Wishing Happiness stamp set. They were colored with markers in red, dark orange, and blue to match the plaid paper. I also layered clear glitter on top to add tons of sparkle! This card is so cheerful and is a perfect way say thank-you to someone special!

Newton's Nook Inky Paws Challenge #50

Happy Saturday!

Today I'm sharing a new summer themed card created for the Newton's Nook Inky Paws Challenge #50.

For my project, I made a square top folding card and used all the challenge colors as inspiration to create a relaxing beach scene. I love the Aloha Newton stamp set!

The stamped image and background were colored with markers. Glitter and white gel pens were used to embellish and a row of multicolored pastel rhinestones line the bottom of the card for extra sparkle!

Lastly, I created a frame with watercolored paper and layered rose gold glitter paper on the back. The card base was made from lavender textured cardstock and the inside was left blank.

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps: Challenge #389 -Sequins

Hello, friends!

Tasha here sharing my entry for the Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Challenge #389: Sequins. For my project, I created a fun summer themed shaker card with the new Beach Blanket Bingo stamp set.

This super cute critter is so fun; I love his swimming gear! I colored the image with markers and layered Glossy Accents over the tube, floaties, and goggles to give them shine. I also added clear glitter before layering the gloss for some sparkle.

The sentiment was stamped in black on sea green paper. A pretty blue and green sequins mix filled the shaker cup; I thought these colors went perfectly with the beach theme!

Lastly, I layered a silver glitter frame and some aqua blue glitter around the shaker cup and used a fish pattern paper to create some layers. Also, the center layer and card base were created with textured cardstock to give the card tons of support when traveling in the mail.

D2BA Design Team Project: Nail Polish Gift Box

Hi, friends!

Tasha here sharing a fun nail polish gift box created with the Flip Flops and Flowers For Mom stamp sets from Dare 2B Artzy!

The box was constructed from pink cardstock and I layered navy blue D2BA pattern paper to each side; love the blue and pink color combination!

The flip-flop images were stamped in black ink and colored with markers. I layered clear glitter on top to give some sparkle and adhered a pretty pink rhinestone to each for more shine.

The sentiment "To A Special Friend" was stamped in black on coordinating pink cardstock. I layered pink glitter paper behind the sentiment and around the peek-a-boo circle opening. In addition, I made a large bow from the same pink glitter paper and added a larger pink rhinestone to the center. There is always room for extra shimmer!

Lastly, two nail polish bottles were added to complete the package. The flip-flops reminded me of painted toenails and I think this is a great gift option for the summer season!
